Ingredients:

250 g block mozzarella cheese

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 eggs

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

Oil for frying

Preparation:

  1. Cut the cheese into thick strips, about finger-sized.

  2. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Bread the cheese sticks: first dip them in flour, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs. For extra crispiness, repeat the egg and breadcrumb step.

  4. Freeze for 30 minutes to prevent the cheese from melting while frying.

  5. Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry the cheese sticks until golden and crispy (about 1–2 minutes per side).

  6. Remove and drain on paper towels to eliminate excess oil.

  7. Serve hot with your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
